Learning how to drive quickly and safely on a race track only comes with experience, coaching, patience and a commitment to learn new skills. In the end, the difference between the good and the great is measured by a commitment to learn and apply new skills.

Reading the road
Visualizing Racing Lines
Point of Focus Visual Technique
Correct use of head and eye movement whilst driving
Understanding weight transfer on approach to corners
Left foot braking, Heel and Toe braking
Trailing throttle - Use of throttle to manage weight transfer through corners
Tire feedback, tire management and slip angles
Listening to your car
Walking the track and what to look for
3.00 – 3.30: Arrive, empty car and sign waiver
3.30 – 5.00: Classroom and Driver’s Meeting
5.00 – 5.30: Course walk
5.30 – 7.30: Lapping with instructor
7.30 – 7.45: Classroom
7.45 – 9.00: Lapping with instructor
Upon completion of this Experience you'll have gained new skills which will ultimately increase your understanding of your vehicle's capabilities and will make you a safer and more confident driver.

Things to Remember
A waiver of liability must be read and signed prior to participation.
Throughout this Experience you will be driving your own car, not school cars.
All coolant/antifreeze must be removed from the vehicle and replaced with water or water and "water wetter" prior to participation.
Participants must provide their own Snell approved helmet and wear light weight shoes shoes (such as running shoes). Rental of a helmet is available if needed.

Q. How many cars are on the track at once?
A. There will be four cars on the track at once, with the rest of the group observing and making notes of areas for personal improvement.

Meet your Chief Instructor, Terry Johns...
Terry Johns has been involved in competitive Motor Sport for the past 45 years. During that time Terry has raced Karts, Group ‘A’ Rally Cars, Formula Ford, Formula Atlantic and worked as an instructor at three of the UK’s leading Race Tracks. A former BTRDA Champion and ASWMC Rally Champion, Terry brings his many years of valuable experience to these popular events.

Please aim to arrive 1 hour in advance on the day of your Experience.
Parental consent is required for drivers under the age of eighteen (18). It is strongly recommended that an adult accompany drivers under the age of eighteen.
Once you have booked a date for your Experience we will require a minimum of 6 weeks notice should you wish to cancel. If you need to cancel within 6 weeks of your booked date then we will do our best to accommodate you but we regret that in the majority of cases it will not be possible for you to cancel and reschedule. If we are able to cancel your booking, per our terms and conditions you will not be able to receive a refund (you will, however, be able to reschedule your date).
