You’ve felt the Thunder, you’ve heard the Roar of the Engines, but this time it’s different…this time it’s YOU behind the wheel! Ever had the itch to get behind the wheel of a Stock Car? Wonder what it would be like to turn some laps at the Speedway? Well you’re going to experience a day at the oval driving Thunder Cars under expert supervision.

Stock Car Driving Experience Pricing

Stock Car Race School
Your Experience will begin with you and the instructor "walking the track", learning the race lines, braking lines and other features of the 1/4 mile paved oval, Alberta's only NASCAR® sanctioned race track. Following this you'll suit up and it's into the passenger seat of a 2-seater race car with the instructor showing you how it's done for 3-4 laps, then you'll switch places and it's over to you for about 5 laps with the instructor by your side. After this you'll get your own race car for 4, 10 lap sessions, coming in after each session for additional instruction and critique.The whole Experience lasts 3-4 hours.The race school uses a graduated method of teaching, meaning that you go only as fast as you feel comfortable with speed only increasing as you learn. The emphasis is on car control, learning the race line and having fun! The majority of this race school is spent actually driving a race car.A race suit and helmet is provided, and upon completion of the race school you'll receive two complimentary tickets to any of the raceways' events. In addition, a photograph will be taken of you in your full race gear in the 'Winner's Circle" along with your race car. The photo is enlarged to an 8" X 10" and sent to you along with an Official Certificate to show that you have successfully completed the Stock Car Race School! NEW FOR OUR RACE SCHOOLS! Race School participants will receive a NASCAR Whelen All American Series Hat. In addition each participant will also receive an Official NASCAR License Application. You simply complete the application (we send it in for you) and NASCAR will send you a gift package along with your own personalized NASCAR License Card!

Stock Car Test Drive
The 10 Lap Test Drive is a great way to experience the 1/4 mile paved oval at Alberta's only NASCAR® sanctioned race track! Your Experience will begin with you and the instructor "walking the track", learning the race lines, braking lines and other features of the oval. Following this you'll and get strapped into a Race Car and you'll follow the instructor in the Pace Car for about 5 warm-up laps, after which they'll speed up for you to follow for another 10 Laps of exhilaration. For your safety and enjoyment the instructor will only go as fast as he feels you can safely handle the car. A race suit and helmet is provided, and upon completion of the race school you'll receive two complimentary tickets to any of the raceways' events. In addition, a photograph will be taken of you in your full race gear in the 'Winner's Circle' along with your race car. The photo will then be enlarged to an 8" X 10" and will arrive in the mail.
