Clam Digging
Departing from the historical Port of Georgetown, you will cruise out five miles to the uninhabited Boughton Island, where you will dig for giant bar clams and cook your catch on the beach. You will search for beach treasures, such as seaglass, drift wood, old buoys - you may even find a message in a bottle. Upon returning we will deep sea fish for mackerel, haul a lobster trap and crab pot.
Sightings seen daily are Bald Eagles, Seals, Schools of Porpoise, the Great Northern Diving Ganet, and the occasional Canadian Loon.
Included in this Experience is fresh fruit and snacks, hot and cold drinks, lifejackets, clam digging tools, fishing rods and bait.
