Lobster Fishing
Join third generation Lobster Fisherman, Perry Gotell, for an adventure on the sea. You will take sail from Georgetown Wharf on his 8 year old wooden hull fishing boat. You will live the life of a lobster fisherman for the day and have a true island experience.
Experience how they find their lobster traps and then pull them into the boat to see how many lobsters they have caught. If you like you can even help take the lobsters out of the traps or if you prefer you can sit back, watch and take in the atmosphere.
You will also see how they grade the lobsters for market or canning and which ones they have to return to the sea.
You may even catch a glimpse of a school of porpoises, bald eagles and seals on your trip.
