You and two friends will spend the day with one of Canada's Top Outdoor TV Celebrity Hosts, Henry Waszczuk. This special experience includes fishing in the morning and returning in the afternoon for 18 holes of golf on a championship course. Lunch is included.
From the middle of May through to the end of October, you have a great collection of fishing hot spots in Ontario. You can fish for largemouth and smallmouth bass, pike, walleye, muskie and more. For the coldwater fish, you can experience, salmon and trout fishing throughout the season. Featured destinations vary from small fly fishing lakes to beautiful streams and rivers.
Depending on the time of year, Henry will make suggestions on where to fish and what species to fish for. Whether you're a novice or an experienced fisherman, Henry will show you the techniques that have made him a master fisherman, as well as sharing a few tales from his travels around the world as a TV host.

Meet Your Host...
THE EARLY YEARS
Henry Waszczuk was born August 26,1950 in Peterbourgh, England and came to Canada at the age of two. He attended Eastdale Collegiate in Oshawa, and after a successful high school football career, he participated in the Telegram East-West All-Star Game and was named defensive player of the game. Henry earned a football scholarship at Kent State University (Ohio) where the team won the Mid-America Conference Championship. In his senior year, Henry was selected an All-Conference centre and earned an All-American honorable mention.
PRO FOOTBALL
Waszczuk's professional football career began in 1975 with the Hamilton Tiger Cats when he was drafted in the first round. During his 10-year career, he was an All-Star at centre seven times and made two Grey Cup appearances (1980,1984). As a Ti-Cat, Henry was awarded the Tom Pate Memorial Award for his contribution to the team, his community and the league. He also was chosen as the Rothman's Outstanding Lineman on three occasions and was also nominated for the Schenley Awards three times. More recently, Henry was selected to the all-time Hamilton Tiger Cat "Dream Team".
TEACHING CAREER
Throughout his 10-year career, Henry taught high school with the Hamilton Board of Education where he served as a Science Department Head.
PROFESSIONAL FISHING
After his retirement from the CFL in 1985, Henry co-founded Canadian Sportfishing, a multi-media company. Henry co-hosted and was Executive Producer of various TV shows including Extreme Fishing, Sportfishing Adventures and the Canadian Sportfishing TV show which aired for 14 years (1986-1999). He is now host of two new TV shows, Fins & Skins Classic Adventures and Fishing the Flats TV. Henry was also publisher of Canadian Sportfishing Magazine and has co-authored eight sportfishing books.
PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
Inducted into the Oshawa Hall of Fame in May of 1989; pioneered catch and release techniques used by many anglers today; involved in many charities now and during both his professional football and fishing careers; has be acknowledged by his peers and business friends in which he has been given awards for his contribution to each community he has lived in.
OTHER
From his college football days and professional career, there have been many great stories and many that relate to his fishing adventures as well. He is a much-sought-after guest speaker for various corporate and sports functions.
