Amazing Race Team Building Challenge

The Amazing Race Teambuilding Challenge is a great way to get your team working together in a fun, exciting way. Located at beautiful Blue Mountain Village near Collingwood, the event involves 2-3 of the race options below as well as many check points around the area. At each of the check points there will be a question on the back of an Amazing Race Flag, the answer must be recorded on your team’s answer sheet.

• Human Knot: Teams will be asked to form a circle, grabbing hands across from them; then they try to undo the human knot.
• The Maze: Teams are asked to find their way step by step through a maze; there is only one path and stepping off this path is a strike against your team. The team with the most number of people through the maze with as few strikes as possible wins.
• Blind Shapes: Teams are asked to create shapes with a rope while they a blind folded.
• Sling Shot Challenge: Teams are given a sling shot and rocks to hit down bottles which have point values on them.
• Brain Teasers: We have a number of different brain teasers: a) Tan Grams (a Chinese puzzle, b) Picture puzzles and c) Popsicle stick challenges.
• Plank Walk: Teams walk together on a 2x8 wooden plank racing another team from point A to point B. The trick is to march as a team.
• Spiders Web: Teams are required to move from one side of the web to the other without touching the “Electric Web”. If one person touches, the whole team returns to start over.
• The Floating Stick: This challenge looks easier then it is. Teams are asked to put out their index fingers and balance a stick on them and as a group bring the stick to the ground.
