Meet our Image Consultant...

Wendy Woods, Founder and President, THE REFINERY

Wendy Woods of THE REFINERY is a certified image consultant with extensive training at the International Image Institute, George Brown College and a graduate from McMaster with an Honours Commerce degree. Upon graduation from McMaster, Wendy took a job at IBM Canada working in the small business department. It was there that Wendy found herself inspired to start her own small business and take control of her own destiny. In 2007 she established THE REFINERY - a full service image consultation firm to help women find clothing/accessories that enhance their personal style. She started the boutique shopping tours as a way to combine her passions for image consulting, small Canadian business, and helping people succeed. Wendy lives by the philosophy that "fashion is a business; personal style is what you choose to wear to compliment your unique body, personality, colouring and lifestyle." Wendy has appeared on The Real Life and Star Report, held workshops at Seneca College and York University, and done appearances at The Clothing Show. A GTA native her whole life, Wendy currently lives and works in Toronto.
