Exploring The Wines Of...
Experience an evening enjoying a wine tasting tour of different destinations with Steve Thurlow, Senior Editor for Wine Access Magazine and one of Canada’s foremost experts on the subject of wine. You'll explore a country’s most important wine regions while sampling 8 different wines from various regions there. Each evening focuses on the chosen country or region for that particular month and is hosted at the Harbourfront Suite in downtown Toronto, which provides a spectacular view of the Toronto Islands and Lake Ontario and creates a beautiful background setting during the evening. To complement the Experience a presentation will be projected onto a 10’ screen, incorporating Google Earth to explore the destination, displaying wine region maps, images of wineries and images of some of the spectacular landscapes found in that destination’s wine producing areas. You will also learn the history and culture of winemaking in the chosen country or region.
Some of the destinations covered include Italy, Spain, California, Chile, Bordeaux, Australia, Burgundy, New Zealand and Argentina. Each month sees us visiting a different destination in a 3 hour evening tasting tour.
Each Exploring The Wines Of...Experience includes:
