The Toronto Distillery District is a national Historic Site and represents the largest and best preserved collection of Victorian Industrial Architecture in North America. Formerly known as The Gooderham and Worts Distillery, this facility has played an important role in the growth and wealth of both the city and nation, at one time contributing more to the Federal coffers than any other enterprise in the country. Whether your interests lie in heritage architecture, 19th century industrial processes or ghost stories, The District offers areas of interest for everyone in the family.

Things to Remember

A waiver of liability must be signed prior to participation (if under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign on their behalf).
Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
Rider must be physically able to climb and descend stairs without assistance or use of a handrail.
Rider must also be able to operate the steering control with his or her left hand.
Tour goes rain, snow, or shine, however if dangerous or severe weather conditions are present, (major snowstorm, etc.), the tour will be rescheduled.

Recommended Clothing

Dress warmly as tour is entirely outside.
